Business Process Specialist Senior

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Business Process Specialist (senior level) to support the Defense Intelligence Agency's Defense Intelligence Enterprise. The role maps intelligence-related business processes, builds and monitors metrics, surveys stakeholders and uses statistical analysis to identify risk and waste. At senior level, you also lead and mentor the team. The position is contingent on contract award, business needs, security clearance verification and funding availability, and is scheduled 5 days a week, 8 hours per day.

Key responsibilities

• Lead process improvement initiatives end to end, from baseline measurement through implemented change
• Advise government leaders on where to invest improvement effort, backed by benchmark comparisons and statistical evidence
• Design the metrics frameworks that mid-level specialists execute against
• Mentor the business analysis team and standardize methods across the program
• Present findings and recommendations to senior decision makers

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• 12+ years of relevant business process experience, with recent experience within the last 2 years
• Demonstrated leadership of process improvement efforts and a track record of quantifiable performance improvements
• Master's degree desired in a related field
• Preferred: DIA or Defense Intelligence Enterprise experience, program transition support experience, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or comparable advanced certification
