About the role
ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Business Manager to drive sales, consulting services, and recruitment of engineering consultants. You will act as the bridge between our talented consultants and demanding customers, ensuring both parties thrive.
Key responsibilities
- Prospect and acquire new customers within engineering sectors.
- Maintain and grow existing account relationships, supporting active client projects.
- Close service‑based and time‑based contracts, defining proposal and pricing strategies.
- Interview, match, and place qualified engineering talent to meet current and future client needs.
- Build strong customer relationships and act as trusted advisor.
- Oversee consultant career development, annual reviews, and training.
- Manage the P&L for your business unit and ensure project profitability.
- Track leads and sales performance using Salesforce.
- Travel to existing and prospective customers as required.
Required profile
- US Person (citizen or permanent resident).
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or consulting within engineering or technology environments.
- Strong ability to manage teams, mentor consultants, and drive business growth.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
