About the role
Applied Materials is seeking a Business Management III professional to act as the interface between sales and business units, supporting multiple customers and regions. The role focuses on driving market share, positioning products, and managing the end‑to‑end sales process.
Key responsibilities
- Interface between sales and business units for multiple customers and regions.
- Execute division strategy for assigned accounts to achieve targeted market share.
- Develop and submit product single‑page strategies.
- Position division products in line with customer specifications and technical capabilities.
- Own purchase and configuration specification responses and close hardware and process RFQs.
- Gather data, recommend pricing structures, and partner with sales to close orders.
- Qualify, schedule, and coordinate demos, site visits, and source inspections.
- Contribute to account and division financial targets, including forecast and book‑to‑bill commitments.
- Program‑manage account/division initiatives and drive evaluation tool milestones.
Required profile
- Demonstrated conceptual and practical expertise in your discipline with basic knowledge of related areas.
- Understanding of best practices, integration across functions, and awareness of competitive market factors.
- Ability to act as a resource for less‑experienced colleagues and lead small, low‑risk projects.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, capable of evaluating multiple information sources and offering new perspectives.
- Impact on customer, operational, project, or service activities across teams while operating within broad guidelines.
- Effective communication of complex or sensitive information and ability to build consensus.

- Salary range $115,000 – $158,500 per year.
