Business Insurance Client Service Associate

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring a Business Insurance Client Service Associate in Fort Lauderdale. The associate provides technical and service support to Client Advisors for new clients, during renewals and for daily client service functions. The role is listed as hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Handle remarket requests from clients, especially when a significant increase in renewal premium is identified.
• Prepare renewal reviews, premium and loss summaries, renewal exposure reviews and future renewal applications according to Best Practice timelines.
• Process change requests, maintain insurance schedules and premium finance agreements, and prepare certificate holder lists and certificate templates.
• Maintain Sagitta policy details and system use in line with MMA-Florida Region procedures.
• Research and recommend solutions to client risk management and coverage issues, and advise on internal workflows.
• Receive and process claim reports as backup to the claims unit, gather loss data and explain results to clients, sales executives, marketing and carriers.
• Manage the renewal timetable to meet or exceed Florida Region procedures, and quote and bind Special Event, Builders Risk and Flood policies.

Required profile

• Current Florida 2-20 license, or willingness to obtain one.
• College degree desirable, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least two years of commercial insurance experience preferred.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to maintain and organize electronic files on the company document management system.
• Working knowledge of Sagitta Agency Management System and ImageRight, or willingness to learn them.
