Business Excellence Engineer Co‑Op

About the role

The Business Excellence Engineer Co‑Op will support continuous improvement initiatives in Gurabo, PR, applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive cost reduction, inventory optimization, and process flow improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations and support groups to eliminate non‑value‑added activities and align flow with customer demand.
• Develop current and future state value‑stream maps, prioritize tasks, and track project execution plans.
• Support Kaizen teams, 6S events, dashboards, scorecards, visual aids, standard work, checklists, and time studies.

Required profile

• Completed at least freshman year of an accredited university; currently in 3rd or 4th year.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, software engineering, technology, or related fields.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship.
