Business Development Specialist – VIANT Technology

About the role
Chemetall is seeking a Business Development Specialist to drive growth of its VIANT new coating technology. You will identify prospective customers, manage the sales cycle from first contact through testing and approval, and ensure long‑term customer retention.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales plan to meet annual budget targets.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Lead presentations, field trials, and start‑up activities at customer sites.
- Coordinate technical support and troubleshooting with the sales team.
- Obtain necessary customer approvals and manage approval processes.
- Track and report market share, value potential, and opportunity progress.
- Produce internal and external promotional materials, including brochures, conference papers, online ads, and social media content.
Required profile
- Strong balance of sales acumen and technical understanding of coating technologies.
- Ability to work closely with technical sales representatives throughout the sales cycle.
- Proactive attitude toward market analysis and industry trend monitoring.
