Business Development Manager – Energy Storage

About the role

The Business Development Manager will independently promote LONGi Storage products and services across the United States, driving market share growth in the energy storage sector. You will engage with current and prospective customers to ensure satisfaction and translate market needs into revenue‑generating opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and acquire new customers while managing existing relationships in energy‑storage wholesale, distribution, EPC, developer, and IPP segments, with a focus on developers.
• Convert client requests and market trends into service enhancements, product modifications, and new product developments to increase revenue.
• Coordinate technical activities that support customer and project success.
• Gather market intelligence on energy storage and develop responsive strategies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with BESS distribution channels and leading project developers.
• Provide input on marketing and product positioning specific to target markets.
• Execute brand and messaging strategies, acting as an external evangelist for LONGi Storage.
• Liaise with headquarters and global teams to define and meet sales targets.

Required profile

• Proven business development and sales track record with tier‑1 companies in the renewable energy or energy‑storage industry.
• Strong network within the energy‑storage sector and ability to influence key stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of large‑group discussions.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize quickly.
• Fluent in English and willing to travel as needed.
