Business Development Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Consultant to drive growth across New England, focusing on the Greater Boston area. In this full‑time position you will identify new opportunities, generate leads, and build lasting client relationships while working remotely and traveling as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and surpass quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Research, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
• Provide ongoing support and education to existing clients.
• Manage inventory levels and optimize merchandising.
• Plan and execute events, product launches, and in‑salon activations.
• Use CRM tools to track activities and maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager and Education team.

Required profile

• Reside in the Greater Boston Area.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively.
• 3+ years of B2B sales experience in beauty, skincare, haircare or hospitality.
• Proven expertise in new business development and lead generation.
• Consulting experience with the ability to provide strategic business advice.
• Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work remotely and meet targets independently.
