Business Analyst – Healthcare Solutions

About the role

A US-based company providing SaaS and BPaaS solutions for Medicare and Medicaid programs is hiring a Business Analyst. The role supports Subject Matter Experts so they can focus on new client initiatives and strategic projects. You will analyze business processes, gather and document requirements, and work with business and technical teams to ensure effective implementation of solutions. The position is remote, based in Mexico or Ukraine, and requires working according to US business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyze and document business requirements and functional specifications.
• Analyze business processes and workflows to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with SMEs, business stakeholders, developers and QA engineers on requirements.
• Develop workflow documentation and functional specifications.
• Create test scenarios and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Validate implemented solutions against business requirements.
• Support business process analysis for claims, enrollment, provider management, authorizations and configuration.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Business Analyst.
• Experience in the healthcare payer or health insurance industry.
• Knowledge of Medicare and/or Medicaid processes.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements.
• Willingness to work according to US business hours.

Required skills

• Requirements gathering, documentation, workflow analysis and gap analysis.
• Test scenario development and UAT support.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Nice to have: SQL queries and data analysis; expertise in claims, enrollment, provider management, authorizations or configuration; experience supporting software implementations and process improvements.
