Builder - SDE II Mobile (General feature Dev)

About the role

Ring is looking for a Builder to shape the core mobile experiences that millions of customers use daily. You will work on the foundational surfaces of the Ring app, delivering reliable, responsive, and clear features that underpin the company’s security promise.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship iOS and/or Android features for the Ring mobile app.
• Write high‑quality, well‑tested code with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Leverage AI‑powered development tools for code generation, testing, review, debugging, and documentation.
• Identify architectural friction points and propose improvements.
• Collaborate with product, UX, backend, and platform teams to deliver end‑to‑end experiences.
• Maintain operational excellence by resolving issues, fixing bugs, improving observability, and keeping CI/CD pipelines healthy.
• Participate in design and code reviews, raising the team’s technical bar.

Required profile

• Passion for mobile development and deep expertise in modern native frameworks.
• Comfort with Swift, Kotlin, or React Native and strong native fundamentals.
• Ability to ship high‑scale features for tens of millions of users.
• Experience using AI tools as a productive part of the development workflow.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with senior leadership.
