The Branch Manager leads the Scotch Plains branch of Santander, overseeing daily operations and ensuring an excellent customer experience while meeting financial targets. This role combines leadership, sales strategy, and compliance responsibilities to drive growth and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Direct overall branch performance, achieving sales targets and optimizing operational processes.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to grow revenue and market share.
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members, setting clear expectations and fostering professional growth.
• Manage hiring, retention, scheduling, and employee engagement across all job families.
• Engage customers with consultative conversations to provide tailored financial solutions.
• Analyze branch performance data to inform strategic decisions and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, risk management policies, and company standards.
• Utilize digital platforms to enhance customer interactions and promote self‑service options.
• Handle escalated customer issues and deliver effective resolutions.
