Bookkeeper / GL Accountant – Full-time, Onsite in Decatur, GA

About the role

We are seeking a Bookkeeper / GL Accountant to support the U.S. operations of an international manufacturing company located in Decatur, GA. Reporting to the General Manager, you will own day‑to‑day accounting, month‑end close and a variety of administrative tasks in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
• Perform daily bank and credit‑card reconciliations.
• Support month‑end close, financial reporting, variance analysis and reconciliations.
• Handle invoicing, payments and coordinate international accounting matters.
• Track cash flow, assist budget preparation and support tax compliance and audit activities.
• Maintain financial records in accordance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Assist with inventory counts, discrepancy reviews and quarterly/annual adjustments.
• Provide administrative support such as document management, HR assistance and payroll processing.
• Collaborate with international colleagues to improve processes and share best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in full‑cycle bookkeeping or accounting.
• Hands‑on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.
• Experience performing bank and credit‑card reconciliations.
• Ownership of month‑end close and financial reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Willingness to work onsite full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm.

Required skills

• QuickBooks (or similar accounting software) and/or Odoo.
• Advanced Excel and general MS Office proficiency.
