Bookkeeper for Growing CPA Firm

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Bookkeeper to join our fast‑growing CPA firm in Charlotte, North Carolina. You will maintain accurate financial records for multiple clients and support the team with payroll, tax filings, and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly bank and credit‑card reconciliations for various clients.
• Prepare and post journal entries into the general‑ledger system.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages and trial balances.
• Process payroll and file federal and state payroll tax reports.
• Prepare monthly sales‑tax reports and support annual income‑tax compliance projects.
• Handle data‑entry, administrative duties, and ad‑hoc special projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience with solid accounting fundamentals.
• Degree in Accounting or related field; bookkeeping or payroll certifications preferred.
• Ability to prioritize, multi‑task, and meet deadlines.
