Board Certified/Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join its Lafayette University Hospital and Clinics. The position will be based in a new facility slated for completion in 2026 and offers the possibility of a leadership role overseeing Advanced Practice Providers with an additional stipend.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive primary care services in an outpatient setting with limited call coverage.
• Provide clinical leadership and supervision of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) as needed.

Required profile

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana and able to work full‑time or part‑time in an onsite clinic.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Experience using digital medicine platforms for chronic‑condition management.
