BMW Service Technician

About the role

As a Service Technician at Century BMW you will perform vehicle repair and maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards, ensuring high‑quality service for our customers. You will work in the service bay, receive repair orders, diagnose issues, complete repairs efficiently, and supervise any apprentice technicians assigned to you.

Key responsibilities

• Receive repair orders from the dispatcher and move them to the stall area.
• Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and perform the required repairs.
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed components and tag warranty parts.
• Document all work performed and road‑test vehicles when required.
• Supervise the work of apprentice technicians.
• Attend factory‑sponsored training and stay current with technical bulletins.
• Maintain a clean, organized shop and ensure proper disposal of hazardous waste.
• Follow all safety policies and report accidents immediately.

Required profile

• High Customer Service Index (CSI) is required.
• ASE certification or equivalent manufacturing training.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass background, MVR, drug test and pre‑employment screening.
