Biomedical Technician

About the role

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Biomedical Technician to maintain and repair medical and water‑treatment equipment in its kidney‑care clinics. You will ensure dialysis machines operate safely, support colleagues with training, and manage the inventory of critical medical supplies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair dialysis equipment, ancillary devices, and water‑treatment systems.
• Perform water/dialysate sampling, analysis, and corrective actions.
• Document all repairs, maintenance activities, and trend analyses.
• Coordinate with external vendors to ensure contract compliance.
• Manage inventory of service parts and medical supplies.
• Assist in planning and installing new biomedical equipment.
• Participate in technical and regulatory meetings and ensure OSHA and other regulatory requirements are met.

Required profile

• Experience working with dialysis or similar medical equipment.
• Ability to follow safety and regulatory standards.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication for training and collaboration with clinic staff.
