Biology Instructor – Science Core

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking a dedicated Biology Instructor to join Central Georgia Technical College. You will deliver engaging instruction in Anatomy, Physiology, and Biology courses to a diverse student body, both in‑person and online.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality instruction in Anatomy & Physiology and/or Biology.
• Apply effective teaching strategies, assessment methods, and maintain accurate academic records.
• Follow approved course syllabi and meet program and accreditation requirements.
• Participate in professional development and collaborate with college personnel.
• Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Complete required reports, records, and invoices promptly.
• Maintain inventory of instructional materials and equipment.

Required profile

• Under general supervision, able to teach Anatomy, Physiology, and Biology courses.
• Maintain program requirements and attend all professional development training.
• Adhere to Technical College System of Georgia policies and accreditation standards.
• Flexibility to teach day, evening, or online classes and travel within the college service area.
