Bilingual Transactional Attorney

About the role

We are a Texas‑based business law firm seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) transactional attorney to join our team. You will work directly with domestic and international clients on a variety of commercial, energy and real‑estate transactions, gaining full ownership from deal inception to closing.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements such as purchase and sale agreements, leases, service contracts and financing documents.
• Handle oil, gas and energy transactional matters, including joint operating agreements and related sector contracts.
• Support cross‑border transactions, advising Spanish‑speaking clients and coordinating with foreign counsel.
• Advise on entity formation, corporate structuring and governance matters.
• Negotiate and document commercial finance and private‑equity deals.
• Manage commercial real‑estate acquisitions, dispositions and leasing.
• Conduct due diligence and oversee transactions through closing.
• Translate complex legal concepts for English‑ and Spanish‑speaking clients.

Required profile

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
• Professional fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).

Required skills

• Strong drafting and negotiation abilities for commercial contracts.
• Knowledge of oil, gas and energy transaction structures.
• Experience with cross‑border and international commercial deals.
• Understanding of corporate formation, structuring and governance.
• Ability to manage due diligence and closing processes.
