About the role

We are seeking a bilingual producer who can shape news for the digital age, delivering fast‑moving content across NBC and Telemundo platforms in New York. The role blends live‑stream production, social‑first storytelling, and real‑time trend spotting to keep our audience informed and engaged.

Key responsibilities

• Produce live and recorded streaming news segments.
• Create social‑first video content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X and emerging platforms.
• Write, edit, clip and publish news pieces quickly while maintaining editorial accuracy.
• Identify trending stories and formats in real time and adapt coverage accordingly.
• Edit video for multiple formats using desktop editing systems.
• Collaborate with reporters, creators and newsroom teams to ensure fast turnaround on breaking news, weather and developing stories.
• Experiment with new storytelling approaches and platform strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in newsgathering and/or production.
• At least 3 years of experience writing, producing and using desktop editing systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience line‑producing newscasts and editing content on desktop editors.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, digitally native environment.
