Bilingual Elementary & Middle School Tutor (Spanish/English)

About the role

Prep Academy Tutors of Los Angeles is looking for bilingual educators to provide one‑on‑one tutoring for K‑8 students in both English and Spanish. The role supports students’ academic growth across core subjects while fostering confidence and strong study habits.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personalized instruction in Math, English Language Arts, Reading, Science, Social Studies, or other subjects.
• Provide tutoring in both English and Spanish, adapting to each student’s language needs.
• Create individualized learning plans based on assessments and goals.
• Assist with homework, study skills, organization, and foundational academic skills.
• Track progress and communicate updates to families.
• Travel to students’ homes throughout the Los Angeles area.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (required).
• Fluency in both Spanish and English.
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience with elementary or middle‑school students.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
• Reliable transportation and authorization to work in the United States.
