Bilingual Career Advisor (Full-Time)

About the role

Career Team is seeking a high‑energy, service‑driven Bilingual Career Advisor to support adult and dislocated workers in Pierce County. You will provide comprehensive case management, career planning, and eligibility determination while guiding participants from enrollment to successful employment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver intensive case management services to registered customers within the One‑Stop system.
• Become a subject‑matter expert on local labor market and career trends.
• Complete intake, eligibility determination, enrollment, and service planning in line with workforce program policies.
• Assess jobseekers’ employment and training needs through interviews and testing.
• Enter and maintain participant data in required information systems.
• Guide jobseekers in preparing Individual Employment Plans (IEP) based on occupational goals.
• Counsel clients on available job opportunities, training programs, and related services.

Required profile

• Strong service orientation with the ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain and strengthen partner relationships.
• Willingness to research WorkSource and WIOA services before applying.
• Character and commitment to serve the community; prior experience is not mandatory.
