Benefit Implementation Consultant – On‑Site

About the role

The Benefit Implementation Consultant supports new and existing clients in deploying Vensure’s benefits administration software. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will guide customers through every stage of onboarding, from gathering requirements to go‑live. The role focuses on ensuring a smooth transition, accurate configuration, and successful adoption of the solution.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Lead discovery and requirements‑gathering sessions to capture benefit program structures, eligibility rules, and reporting needs.
• Manage all phases of benefits implementation projects, including configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Configure and validate benefit plans, employee eligibility rules, carrier connections, and system workflows.
• Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and communication between clients, internal teams, and third‑party vendors.
• Conduct system testing, quality‑assurance reviews, and user‑acceptance testing to identify and resolve issues before go‑live.
• Troubleshoot configuration, data, and system problems during and after implementation, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Review and validate benefit data imports, carrier feeds, enrollment workflows, and reporting outputs for accuracy.
• Deliver training and knowledge‑transfer sessions to administrators and end users.
• Provide consultative guidance and best‑practice recommendations related to benefits administration and system optimization.

Required profile

• Strong client‑relationship skills with the ability to act as a trusted advisor.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into system configurations.
• Ability to manage multiple implementation projects and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
