Bell Person – Guest Services

About the role

The Bell Person welcomes guests at the hotel entrance, assists with luggage, and provides a range of guest services to ensure a smooth and pleasant stay.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload luggage carts, tag and store luggage.
• Escort guests to their rooms and give an overview of room features, hotel services, and amenities.
• Make deliveries to guest rooms and assist with room changes.
• Stock pantry supplies when needed.
• Maintain brochures and guides for local attractions, transportation, and venues.
• Perform house‑attendant duties during staff shortages.
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work to improve them.
• Follow sustainability guidelines of HHM’s EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective equipment, and comply with MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Required profile

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous customer‑service experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, push carts, lift up to 50 lb, bend and reach.
• Willingness to work varied schedules, including holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.
