Hotel Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Spire Hospitality is seeking a motivated Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team. In this full-time position you will ensure the building’s operational functionality while delivering exceptional guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service to guests and respond quickly to their concerns.
• Perform proactive maintenance in guest rooms and public areas.
• Support installation, repair, and upkeep of hotel facilities.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Document all maintenance activities accurately.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or maintenance certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least one year of general maintenance or repair experience in a hotel setting (preferred).
• Familiarity with OSHA safety and chemical standards (preferred).

Required skills

• Mechanical systems maintenance.
• Electrical systems troubleshooting.
• Plumbing repair and maintenance.
• Preventive maintenance procedures.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
