Behavior Technician (Per Diem)

About the role

NeurAbilities Healthcare is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Per Diem Behavior Technicians (BHT) in Bethlehem, PA. You will work one‑to‑one with children and adolescents in clinic, home, or school settings, applying Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) under the guidance of a Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst.

Key responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans to improve communication, social, and independent living skills.
• Provide appointment‑based, per‑diem support across multiple service locations.
• Collect accurate data, maintain client materials, and document progress.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent delivery of interventions.
• Educate others about ABA techniques and follow established treatment protocols.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred minimum of 6 months experience working with children or adolescents with autism or other developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to various locations.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb and perform walking, bending, and other routine activities.
