Before/After School Care Attendant

About the role

The Before/After School Care Attendant oversees the Biblically grounded education and care of children in the before‑ and after‑school study hall program at Cornerstone Christian Academy. Reporting to the Head of School and the Principal, the attendant creates a positive, God‑honoring environment, assists with homework, and leads daily activities.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and enforce school disciplinary policies, dress code, and behavior standards.
• Plan and lead daily activities, assist students with homework, and maintain a tidy classroom.
• Supervise students indoors and outdoors, ensuring safety and emergency preparedness.
• Collaborate with administration and staff to support a positive school culture.

Required profile

• Minimum age 16, working toward a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred).
• First‑Aid certified and able to lift up to 25 lb.
• Strong Christian faith, regular church attendance, and commitment to CCA’s Articles of Faith.
• Excellent communication, patience, and ability to work with diverse children.
