About the role
Apollo After School is seeking enthusiastic educators to provide before‑care services for elementary students in Chicago. The position runs Monday to Friday, 7 am–9 am, following the school district calendar for the 2026‑2027 year.
Key responsibilities
- Provide a safe, high‑quality learning environment and supervise activities before school starts.
- Assist with implementation of curriculum and weekly lesson plans as needed.
- Ensure student safety, follow the designated schedule, and maintain classroom routines.
- Help students with homework completion.
Required profile
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; 18 years or older.
- At least one year of experience working with children ages 4‑10 in a school or after‑school setting.
- Ability to manage an elementary classroom independently and collaborate with peers.
