About the role

The Restaurant Server greets guests, takes orders, serves food and beverages, and ensures guest satisfaction during the evening shift.

Key responsibilities

  • Present menus, answer questions, suggest items, and explain daily specials.
  • Relay orders to the kitchen, serve courses, and manage timing of service.
  • Check back with guests, respond to additional requests, and handle payment.
  • Clear and reset tables promptly after each course and at the end of the shift.
  • Complete opening, running, and closing side‑work and assist co‑workers as needed.
  • Address guest inquiries or complaints promptly, following “Make it Right” guidelines.
  • Follow hotel safety policies, keep work areas clean, and report any accidents.

Required profile

  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • At least one year of hotel food‑service experience with full‑service, table‑side knowledge.
  • Legal age to serve alcohol and actively TABC certified.
  • Possess a Food Handlers Certification.

Required skills

  • TABC certification.
  • Food Handlers certification.
