Barback - Lakewood Amphitheater

About the role

The Barback works in the concessions environment at the Lakewood Amphitheater, supplying the bartender with items on request so that guest service stays exceptional. The employer is Legends Global, a hospitality agency that provides solutions for brands across professional sports, collegiate, attractions, entertainment, international and convention sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Stock bar items daily and fill the ice bins as needed.
• Anticipate needs throughout the shift.
• Assist in keeping all areas clean and organized.
• Report on time and set up the work area as directed.
• Follow the operating standards in the policy and procedure manual and provide prompt, quality service.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to interact with co-workers to meet service standards.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Ability to read, speak and write English.
• Two to three years of experience in a fast-paced bar, high-end club or restaurant.
• Able to work all Yankee Stadium events, including extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift and move items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, and to work with constant reaching, bending and stooping.
