About the role
We are looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Picker to join our bakery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing bakery products for dispatch while ensuring quality standards are maintained.
Key responsibilities
- Pick bakery products according to order requirements
- Ensure correct quantities and product quality before dispatch
- Pack and prepare orders for delivery
- Assist with stock rotation and inventory control
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
- Assist in achieving daily dispatch targets
Required profile
- Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
- 1‑2 years' experience in a bakery, warehouse, dispatch, or production environment
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the role
