Bagger Operator – Night Shift (7:15pm‑7:45am)

About the role

The Packaging (Bagger) Operator works on Line 1D during the night shift, ensuring products are properly bagged, wrapped, sealed, and case‑packed. The role requires ownership of the packaging process and the ability to operate multiple pieces of equipment safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Adjust equipment to maintain proper packaging rate and product quality.
• Operate baggers, double baggers, wrappers, and auto case packers.
• Monitor product weight and count; report out‑of‑specification items.
• Maintain log sheets and perform quality‑assurance checks.
• Clean, inspect, lubricate, and perform autonomous maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Report equipment issues to supervisors and maintenance staff.
• Uphold 5S standards, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Assist in training new or re‑assigned employees.
• Perform other duties within the scope of the role as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience; food‑production experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance procedures.
