Bagger Operator – 3rd Shift

About the role

The Bagger Operator works the third (night) shift on the IQF Line 2, ensuring that bags are filled, sealed, and prepared for shipment. This full‑time, non‑exempt position reports to the Production Supervisor and supports the Irving production team.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate the bagging machine, including assembling scales and inserting plastic film.
• Lift loads up to 70 lb and perform weekly preventive maintenance (PM) on the bagger.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and apply correct production settings.
• Follow all safety protocols and communicate any concerns to management.
• Perform additional duties as needed to meet production demands.

Required profile

• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and twist for up to 8 hours per day.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; entry‑level experience accepted.
• Successful completion of a pre‑employment physical, drug test, background check, and safety training.
