Backend Engineer - Security Cleared

About the role

Quindar is building cloud‑native satellite mission operations software. As a Backend Engineer you will develop ground‑segment software using Python and AWS, delivering scalable, secure, and high‑performance APIs for thousands of satellites.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python, GraphQL, Docker, and Terraform.
• Integrate and optimise AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Fargate, EKS, Lambda, ECS, CloudWatch, EFS/EBS) for cost, performance and security.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile Scrum environment to implement new features and troubleshoot issues.
• Contribute to DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and software architecture design.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of professional backend development experience.
• U.S. Person status with an active Secret Clearance; no visa sponsorship available.
