Autonomous Equipment Field Technician

About the role

Rinvio is seeking an Autonomous Equipment Field Technician to support the deployment and operation of robotic and autonomous equipment on construction and infrastructure sites across the United States. This full‑time, travel‑heavy position requires weekly trips to project locations and close collaboration with site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and adjust autonomous equipment, sensors, and electronic systems in active construction environments.
• Work with operators, site leadership, and technical teams to safely integrate equipment into daily operations.
• Document technical issues, field observations, equipment performance, and improvement opportunities.
• Assist with testing, calibration, repairs, component installation, and preventative maintenance, including night or long‑shift operations as needed.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with construction, heavy equipment, field service, machinery, robotics, or industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, comfort with tools, electronics, sensors, and field diagnostics.
• Willingness to travel weekly, work outdoors on construction job sites, and lift up to 60 lb.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and safety‑first mindset.

• Salary range $115,000‑$125,000 per year, based on experience.
