Automotive Store Manager

About the role

Monro, Inc., one of the nation's largest auto service companies and tire retailers, is hiring an Automotive Store Manager in Bradenton. The manager leads all aspects of everyday store and shop operations, including the efficient, productive and safe operation of the service bays. This is presented as a starting point for a career at Monro, with a comprehensive management training program beginning on day one.

Key responsibilities

• Help achieve sales goals by developing and implementing sales plans and knowing Lube and Tire services and other automotive products
• Introduce tire and service products to guests to maximise sales, satisfaction and loyalty
• Train and develop teammates on shop operations and guest services
• Manage recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, discipline and development of employees so the store is effectively staffed
• Control expenses such as payroll, telephone use, store maintenance and repairs, supplies and utilities

Required profile

• High school or GED equivalent
• 4+ years of automotive experience, including 4+ years in automotive tire sales and service or the Lube and Tire industry
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs
• Guest and team focused mindset
• Preferred: Automotive State Inspector License, ASE certifications, proven sales experience, and supervisory experience in tire or automotive
