Automotive Service Technician

About the role

As a Service Technician you will join Tesla’s global service team, supporting the company’s mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. You will work on the most advanced electric vehicles in production, performing diagnostics, repairs, and ensuring a high‑quality customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Execute basic and advanced diagnostic and repair work on all Tesla products.
• Collaborate with team members to maximize repair efficiency and ensure exceptional product delivery, including vehicle cleaning and detailing.
• Operate a variety of high‑quality hand, power, and shop tools.
• Use a company‑supplied laptop for diagnostics, online training, and documentation.
• Accurately document repairs, inspect and maintain shop equipment, and request replacements as needed.
• Provide direct feedback to Tesla’s design and engineering teams to continuously improve repair procedures and products.
• Maintain a collaborative, inclusive, and respectful attitude in a dynamic environment.

Required profile

• Proven ability to adapt to new technologies, follow instructions attentively, and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
• Safety‑first attitude; Section 609 Refrigerant handling certification is preferred.
• Basic command of the English language.
• Proficiency in fundamental computer skills, including web browsing and standard applications such as Excel and Word.
• Valid driver’s license.
