Automotive Service Technician

About the role

Classic Hyundai of Hampton is seeking a certified Service Technician to join a fast‑growing automotive team. You will work in a clean, temperature‑controlled environment, performing repairs and diagnostics on Hyundai vehicles while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Execute repair orders efficiently, following dealership and manufacturer policies.
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; conduct test drives.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
• Communicate directly with Service Advisors to keep customers informed of additional service needs.
• Complete online multi‑point inspection reports.
• Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.

Required profile

• Comprehensive knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Fast learner with strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation and teamwork skills.
• Computer literate and able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
