Automotive Service Director

About the role

Mills Auto Group is looking for an experienced Service Director to lead its service department in Pineville, NC. You will oversee daily operations, ensure top‑notch customer service, and drive the performance of the service team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the service department to maintain efficient, high‑quality operations.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that boost customer satisfaction and departmental efficiency.
• Coordinate with parts, sales, and other departments to streamline workflow and promote teamwork.
• Monitor key performance indicators and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Lead, train, and motivate service staff to uphold high standards of performance and customer care.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience in automotive service management or a similar leadership role.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in business or automotive technology is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with service management software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
