Automotive Parts Counter Salesperson

About the role

The Faulkner Automotive Group is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Parts Counter Salesperson to join its team at the BMW or Volvo Lancaster dealership. The position is full-time, and while automotive experience is a plus it is not required; training is provided to all employees.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for people approaching the parts pick-up window
• Assist service technicians and walk-in customers in purchasing parts and accessories
• Receive training on inventory control, stocking and pulling automotive parts from the stockroom
• Possibly deliver parts to customers located away from the dealership

Required profile

• At least 18 years old and a clean, valid driver's license
• High school diploma, vocational/technical school graduate or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience as a parts counter salesperson in a dealership setting preferred
• Commitment to exceptional customer service
