Auto Claims Handler – Dallas

About the role

ClaimSorted is seeking an experienced Auto Claims Handler to join its fast‑growing team in Dallas. You will manage the full lifecycle of auto insurance claims, delivering a high‑quality experience for policyholders while leveraging the company’s AI‑enabled platform.

Key responsibilities

• Handle auto claims from first notification of loss through settlement.
• Communicate with policyholders throughout the claims journey, including inbound phone support.
• Review documentation, verify coverage, assess liability, and set appropriate reserves.
• Identify potential fraud indicators and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain accurate claims records for audit and compliance.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives by flagging process inefficiencies.

Required profile

• Based in or willing to relocate to Dallas, TX with legal work authorization.
• 5+ years of auto claims experience (total‑loss experience preferred).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize independently.
• Data‑driven decision‑making mindset.
• Team‑oriented, hardworking, and ambitious.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or coaching others is a plus.
• Background in a startup or high‑growth environment is a plus.
