Auditor I/II – Internal Audit

About the role

Join BNSF Railway’s Compliance and Audit Department as an Auditor I/II. You will support internal audit activities that safeguard corporate governance, risk management, and internal controls across one of the largest U.S. railroads.

Key responsibilities

• Manage audit work assignments and ensure timely completion.
• Develop detailed test procedures addressing audit objectives and significant risks.
• Interpret and evaluate audit evidence, documenting findings with logical conclusions.
• Present audit results in written reports and verbal briefings.
• Track identified issues and monitor implementation of action plans.
• Perform daily work in an indoor office environment with minimal travel.
• Assist with relocation if required by business needs.

Required profile

• Entry‑level to 1+ years of relevant experience or 2+ years of experience for higher salary range.
• Ability to work one day per week remotely (hybrid work model).
