Audit Readiness and Controllership Consultant

About the role

Deloitte's Finance Transformation team, within the Controllership and Treasury Transformation offering, supports CFOs, controllers and finance teams in defining and executing their finance agendas. As an Audit Readiness Consultant, you will support client engagements on the Controllership and Treasury Transformation team, building end-to-end use cases and helping clients remediate audit weaknesses and strengthen internal controls. The role is based in Arlington, Virginia, with co-location on average five days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Build end-to-end use cases that deliver measurable value to stakeholders.
• Work directly with customers to prototype solutions, gather feedback and iterate.
• Configure and maintain ontologies and data transformation pipelines for enterprise data models, ingestion, processing and analysis.
• Build workflows with Logic Builder for automated decision support and implement automations supporting internal controls.
• Lead technical workshops to gather requirements and demonstrate capabilities.
• Remediate audit weaknesses and support the sustainment and analysis of internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree; preferred: Master's degree and CPA license.
• 1+ year of client-facing consulting experience supporting defense clients, including NFR closure and CAP milestone tracking.
• 1+ year of experience documenting internal controls or process narratives and performing financial data reconciliations.
• Active secret clearance and legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Commutable distance to the assigned office and ability to travel 50% on average.

The stated wage range is $93,100 to $155,100, with possible eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program.
