Audit Intern – Japanese Business Network (Winter 2028)

About the role

Join PwC’s Assurance practice as an Audit Intern focused on the Japanese Business Network for the Winter 2028 term. You will support audit teams in delivering financial statement audits for Japanese‑owned clients, gaining exposure to PwC’s methodologies and professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist audit teams in planning and executing financial statement audits for Japanese business clients.
• Review and verify financial documents for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Apply GAAP and GAAS throughout the audit process.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and support audit conclusions.
• Document audit procedures, findings, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with team members to address issues and manage audit risks.
• Observe and learn PwC’s audit methodologies and internal control frameworks.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Fluent in Japanese and English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time.

Required skills

• Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Understanding of GAAS (Generally Accepted Auditing Standards).
• Data analysis and financial statement interpretation.
• Audit methodology and documentation.
• Internal controls assessment.
