About the role
Legends Global, a partner to live events, venues and brands, is hiring an Audio Visual Technician in Laredo within its Operations department, reporting to the Director of Operations. The technician sets up, operates and breaks down broadcast, audio, lighting and video equipment for concerts and special events.
Key responsibilities
- Set up, operate, break down, inventory and maintain broadcast, audio, lighting and video equipment.
- Run broadcasts for concerts and special events that require A/V.
- Provide technical support throughout events as assigned.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a live performing arts venue, center or theater.
- Technical degree or certification preferred.
Required skills
- Knowledge and experience working with stagehand personnel.
- Knowledge of operations, maintenance and facility management.
- Working knowledge of OSHA, state and other work environment safety regulations.
- Working knowledge of fire and public safety issues.
