Athlete Marketing Manager

About the role

The Athlete Marketing Manager (AMM) drives Red Bull’s brand presence at the regional level by building strategic partnerships with athletes and delivering athlete‑centric marketing initiatives. You will work closely with regional and national teams to elevate athletes’ profiles while aligning their stories with Red Bull’s brand identity.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Regional Marketing and National Athlete Marketing teams to create a comprehensive athlete marketing strategy for the assigned region.
• Identify, recruit, and onboard promising U.S. athletes, establishing clear performance and branding goals.
• Develop customized marketing, communication, and performance plans for each athlete, ensuring deep product knowledge and consistent messaging.
• Negotiate athlete agreements covering fees, bonuses, branding rights, scheduling, and usage terms.
• Conceptualize and execute innovative athlete‑driven projects that showcase personality and brand alignment.
• Leverage national and international athlete assets to generate targeted consumer touchpoints.
• Coordinate with Communications, Digital, and Red Bull Media House to amplify athlete stories.
• Partner with Sports Event Marketing and local athletes to create authentic brand experiences.
• Manage project workflows, budgets, schedules, and cross‑functional stakeholder coordination to bring athlete initiatives to life.

Required profile

• Strategic vision combined with strong execution capabilities.
• Proven experience in athlete, sports, or brand marketing.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple internal teams and external partners.
• Passion for sports and deep understanding of athlete ecosystems.
