Associate Vice President, Content & Creative

About the role

The Associate Vice President, Content & Creative will lead a high‑performing creative organization at the University of Miami. This senior leader will shape social media, design, video, photography, copywriting, and influencer marketing across the university’s academic, health, and athletics divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the production of social media content, design assets, video, photography, copy, and influencer campaigns, ensuring brand consistency.
• Direct a fast‑paced, high‑volume creative shop that delivers content for multiple channels and diverse audiences.
• Lead the university’s social media and influencer strategy, building and managing an influencer program to expand reach.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships and sponsorships that advance institutional priorities and increase brand visibility.
• Champion the integration of AI and advanced creative technologies to streamline production, personalize content, and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate across academic, health, and athletics units to align content strategies with institutional goals.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in content creation, marketing, or communications.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large, multidisciplinary creative teams.
• Strong strategic thinking with a track record of building successful partnership programs.
