Associate – Transportation Structured Products

About the role

Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc. is seeking an Associate to join its Global Credit & Financing Solutions team in New York. The role focuses on the transportation structured products business, investing the bank’s capital across aviation, rail, logistics and shipping sectors through underwriting, structuring and distributing collateralized lending and cash‑flow financing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with senior team members on origination and execution of capital‑markets and lending transactions.
• Assist in drafting underwriting memoranda for credit, sales, syndicate and new ABS deals.
• Support financial modelling and structuring activities.
• Manage transaction execution from mandate to close for both capital‑markets and lending facilities.
• Communicate project status to internal stakeholders and stay informed on industry trends.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc projects as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics or a related field.
• Proven experience in structured finance at an investment bank or investor; ABS or corporate finance experience is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative and communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and flexibility to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
