Associate Sourcing Manager

About the role

The Associate Sourcing Manager will support the development and implementation of strategic sourcing activities across assigned suppliers and commodities. The role aims to secure the best quality, service, and value for products and services through effective bidding, negotiation, and supplier management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop best‑in‑class strategic sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Implement supplier and commodity strategies, including spend assessments, consolidation, make‑vs‑buy analysis, and financial evaluation.
• Represent the voice of the supplier within the organization and collaborate on contract strategy.
• Negotiate, monitor, and enforce supplier contracts where applicable.
• Build strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Identify supply‑base risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Gather and communicate market conditions and technology trends related to commodities.
• Ensure cost standards are established for annual operating budgets and support supplier scorecards and business reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8 + years of supply chain experience, with at least 4 + years in strategic sourcing.
• Knowledge of supplier contract strategy, negotiations, contractual terms, and administration.
• Strong analytical abilities and capacity to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven project‑management capability with demonstrable results.
• Stakeholder management experience.
