About the role

U.S. Bank is looking for an Associate Software Engineer to join its technology team. You will help design, develop, test, and maintain modern software solutions that support the bank’s digital services and improve customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain applications using C#.NET Core/.NET 5+ and related frameworks.
Build and enhance RESTful APIs and integrate them with internal and external systems.
Create responsive user interfaces with React or Angular.
Support cloud‑based solutions on Microsoft Azure, including deployment and monitoring.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and continuous improvement.
Contribute to microservices and containerized applications running in Kubernetes.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Zero to two years of relevant software development experience.

Required skills

C# and .NET Core/.NET 5+
RESTful API design and consumption
React or Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS
Entity Framework Core or Dapper
Microsoft SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning)
Azure services (App Services, SQL, AKS)
Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
Git‑based source control, Azure DevOps, GitLab, JFrog Artifactory
Testing tools such as xUnit, Postman, automated UI testing frameworks
Microservices architecture and containerized application development
