Associate Scientist – Pharmacology

About the role

Servier is seeking a lab‑based Associate Scientist to join its U.S. Pharmacology team in Boston. The role will support in‑vivo studies at CROs and contribute to translational and exploratory oncology programs, helping to define the future oncology portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a variety of cell‑based assays such as western blot, qPCR, ELISA, reporter, growth/phenotypic, flow cytometry, co‑culture, CRISPR and RNAi functional genomics.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot medium‑ and high‑throughput assays for screening and compound progression.
• Provide in‑vitro and ex‑vivo support and analyses for in‑vivo pharmacology studies.
• Document, analyze, interpret and communicate experimental results using an ELN to multidisciplinary project teams.
• Collaborate with scientists across functional areas to design and execute key experiments driving program decisions.

Required profile

• Experienced cancer biologist with 6+ years post‑BS or 3+ years post‑MS experience in industry or academia.
• Hands‑on expertise in mammalian cell culture, cell line engineering and a broad range of molecular biology techniques.
• Ability to work independently, design high‑quality experiments and communicate results effectively in a fast‑paced biotech environment.
